WHO: Black Nonprofits Rise is dedicated to providing financial, organizational, and brand expansion resources to the nonprofit community that establishes and delivers programming, projects, and assets for individuals of color.
WHAT: Our goal is to increase the number of black-owned and operated nonprofits globally by determining viable funding resources that will allow organizations to focus on crucial topics, issues, and disparities that affect the underserved and minority communities.
WHY: BNR was created as a response to the steady decline in resources, programming, and projects that were dedicated to the empowerment, betterment, and equipping of minority-focused organizations and nonprofits.

OUR FOCUS:
ARE YOU READY TO LAUNCH?
Have you conducted a Need Assessment for your initiative?
A needs assessment is the process of determining whether there is an actual, quantifiable need for the work or service your nonprofit provides (or plans to). Conducting a needs assessment is an essential first step to take before you begin program planning—or starting a nonprofit at all, for that matter.
Here are the questions you should seek to answer while conducting your needs assessment:
-
How should we define the problem we’re setting out to solve?
-
Are there any existing organizations that are trying to solve the same problem?
-
What is the scope of the problem we’re trying to solve? For example, how many people would potentially use our services?
-
Where does our expertise regarding solving the problem) come from?
A nonprofit is a business, and in the same way that a startup’s success is dependent on pre-launch market research, a nonprofit’s success is reliant on a thorough needs assessment.
Client Reviews
My client's results are the measure of success
"The BNR team is simply amazing! They helped me identify areas within my business where I was unnecessarily spending thousands of dollars each month. Not only were they able to help me redirect 15% of my monthly expenses, but they also created an infrastructure that allowed me to increase my revenue by 38% in just 3 months! I'm truly impressed with their expertise and highly recommend them to anyone looking to improve their business."

BNR has been instrumental in helping our organization to focus on board development and professional growth. Their reorganization of our entire mindset and operations has had a significant impact, resulting in a 29% increase in our membership within the last 60 days. We are extremely grateful for their assistance in bringing the focus back to our team and for their dedication to helping others. Moving forward, we are excited to continue pushing the boundaries and ensuring that we have a strong presence in our community. Thanks to BNR, we have been able to stay focused on our community, which has always been our top priority.

"Black Nonprofits Rise has an impeccable plan for execution. When I started my non-profit, it was not profitable. However, within the first year, we were able to scale up to multiple 6-figures, form several business partnerships, and get featured on Steve Harvey, ELLEN, Channel 9, and numerous radio stations and interviews."
